Disneyland Paris

Originally Euro Disney Resort, the theme park is located in Marne – la – Vallee (20 miles east of Paris) consists of two parks on 4,800 acres. A contract was signed between CEO Michael Eisner and the French Government on March 24th, 1987. Construction began in August 1988. The park officially opened in April 1992. In 2002, despite all the problems, the theme park received lots of magic and was renamed Disneyland Paris.
